Dr. Ethan Moulton

Periodontist

Ethan grew up in Driggs, Idaho, and graduated in 1990 from Teton High School. Growing up, his favorite activity was snowmobiling above Driggs in the East mountains, with his dad. His parents are Owen and Barbara Moulton.

Ethan loves his family, the outdoors, his team, his colleagues, and his patients. He is driven to learn and implement the most conservative and effective types of dental implant and periodontal treatment.

Ethan and his wife Angela have 5 super kids: Madalyn, David, Kate, Jake, and Ashley. They love to ski, boat, and spend time with family and friends.

Dr. Moulton is grateful to lead 3 Spear study clubs. He is thankful to be a part of an engaged and always-growing network of excellent dentists and dental hygienists. He is thankful for and proud of his team at the office, who are constantly working to refine our systems and, most importantly, improve the outcomes and experiences for the patients we care for. Outside the office, Dr. Moulton enjoys spending time with his family, and playing in the water and the snow.

Following graduation from Teton High, he attended Utah State University and from 1991-1993 served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Seoul Korea. In the summers he worked in concrete for Alta Construction.

After returning to Utah State Ethan met and eventually married his incredible wife Angela in 1996. In 1997, Ethan and Angela moved to Richmond Virginia to attend Dental school. They lived in “the fan” district in downtown Richmond.

In 2001, After graduation with honors from dental school, Ethan was accepted into the Advanced General Dentistry residency program at the University of Oklahoma, one of the few programs of its kind in 2001 that trained general dentistry residents in dental implant surgery and bone grafting

After the AEGD residency, Ethan continued on to complete an additional one-year restorative dentistry fellowship and a three-year residency in periodontics and dental implants finishing up with a Masters Degree in 2006.

Ethan’s learning in Oklahoma was fueled by excellent patients, dental staff, opportunity, and encouragement from his mentors: Dr.s Stephen E. Reagan, Barry Greenley, J Butler, Robin Henderson, the Graduate Periodontics residents and faculty, and Dr. Joe Warriner.

In 2007, after completing 5 years of post-graduate residency training, the Moulton’s moved to Idaho Falls to open Ridge Crest Periodontics and Dental Implants.
